The Novaóptica optic store is located in the historic city of Guimarães, Portugal. The intervention aims to create a unified space, inviting and warm, balancing the narrow storefront and longitudinal space constraints. The curvilinear lines allow to embed the program of the store into a single element that transforms itself according to the functional needs. The overall architectural concept merges the programmatic and esthetical parameters into a single.
This optical store transports us to an unreal perception of reality like if we were in a 3D space. The details are so controlled that no mistakes can be found. The organic and dynamic lines created are so immersive that, for those that are in that space feel in another dimension.
