OPEN is a new British menswear retailer that delivers a no-nonsense approach to modern menswear. The brand puts design quality and value at its core – focusing on the key trends for the season and essential wardrobe staples. OPEN’s ethos is offering product designed to appeal to men of all ages who take pride in the way they look every day.

For SS15, OPEN are incorporating pieces from their current range together with a collection of modern looks that incorporate key trends for the months ahead. Classic warm-weather staples such as light wash denim, lightweight bombers, skinny chinos and the £5 tee are complemented by statement printed garments.

The brand’s in-house design team have travelled the world to seek inspiration for the eclectic prints and vibrant colours utilised throughout this season’s collection. For SS15, OPEN introduce new season trends Geo Sport, Indigo Blues, Botanic and Palm Springs.

‘Geo Sport’ features clean designs such as the classic Harrington and the clean bomber., bold print tees in monochrome, geometric patterns and crisp checked shirts.

From printed shirts to skinny jeans the ‘Indigo blues’ trend is all about blue on blue, in multiple shades combined with real indigo jersey and textured sweats.

Further on in the season, OPEN launch the ‘Botanic’ trend, dark denim shorts, heavily patterned shirts and leaf print tees in a dark rich colour palette are key for this trend.

In contrast to this, ‘Palm Springs’ highlights pale denim washes and a summer palette of pastel pinks, mints and lilacs. Surf graphics, tie-dye and bleach effects are key throughout.

Footwear and accessories mirror the key trends to include denim, floral leather and canvas. The classic OPEN rucksack silhouette has been updated into a floral all over print, colourblocked and denim-esque canvas.

OPEN is currently trading nationwide with stores in Manchester, Brighton, Bury, Leeds, Northampton, Stevenage and Hanley. A further 4 stores are planned to open in Leicester, Merry Hill, Glasgow and Bristol before the end of the year. Additionally OPEN will be offering click and collect at over 600 locations across the JD Group network from 10th November 2014.
